Using Taaq
Taaq shows original work and, when you ask, prepares a quote for delivery and installation in Karachi. Nothing on the site is a completed sale until a quote is accepted and payment is confirmed.
The catalogue
Works, prices, and availability change. A page can be out of date by the time you read it. Trade prices are shown only to signed-in designer and architect accounts. A shared shortlist does not show trade prices. Artists keep the copyright in their work. You may not copy an image for your own catalogue or advertisement.
Quotes, delivery, and payment
A quote covers the work and, when included, framing, delivery, and installation. Delivery and installation are in Karachi only. Payment is by bank transfer to the account named on the quote. We do not charge a card on this site. Title and risk should be stated on the quote a lawyer reviews. Until then, do not treat this paragraph as the rule of a sale.
Accounts, briefs, and applications
A sign-in link is for you. Do not forward it. A curator brief and an artist application should be your own, and the images should be ones you have the right to send. We may decline an application or a brief. The automated curator only offers works that are in the catalogue. It is not a promise that a work will still be available, and it is not tax or legal advice.
The site
The writing, layout, and name Taaq belong to the gallery. The site is offered as it is during this pilot. Karachi is the place of business. Write to hello@taaqmai.com before relying on any sentence here. The final terms have to name the legal entity, the governing law, and the limits of liability.
