How Taaq handles what you share
Taaq is a gallery in Karachi for original art. This draft describes the information a visitor, collector, designer, or artist may give us while the pilot is open.
What we ask for
An account needs an email address. A waitlist signup needs an email, and a name if you give one. A curator brief may include a room, wall sizes, a budget, a note, images of a space, and a phone number or email so someone can reply. An artist application may include a name, city, practice note, and images of work. A quote request may include a Karachi address, billing name, and tax identifiers you choose to give.
Why we keep it
We use it to sign you in, answer a brief, prepare a quote, deliver and install work in Karachi, and tell you when there is something new if you joined the list. We do not sell addresses. Campaign tags from the link you first opened may stay with a waitlist signup so we know which introduction brought you. They are not shown on the public site.
Who else sees it
The gallery team in Karachi can see briefs, applications, and orders. Email is sent through our mail provider. The site may record product analytics with PostHog, hosted in the United States, to understand which pages are used. Payment for a work is by bank transfer. We do not take card numbers on this site.
How long, and how to ask
We keep account, brief, and order records while they are needed to run the gallery and for the ordinary bookkeeping of a sale. You can ask us to correct an email or to leave the waitlist. Write to hello@taaqmai.com. A lawyer still has to confirm retention, cross-border analytics, and the wording of any request process before this page is published as policy.
